I’m so excited about my new Bosu! Bosu stands for “both sides up” and if you’ve never tried one you need to! They are so much fun, and it’s already really stepped up my game. We picked this baby up for under $100 at Costco, which is the cheapest I’ve ever seen them!! We only have one Bosu, so if you don’t have one, don’t worry! You can still do this Tabata! If you do have a Bosu, follow along with me in and if you do not have one, follow along with Leonard.
Tabata workouts are our way of jump starting our New Year fitness goals! We just LOVE them! They burn a ton of calories, the intervals are intense but short, it speeds up your metabolism for the next 24 hours, I have more energy, and it improves my mood! What’s not to love about them?
There are 5 parts. I normally do 4 but felt like trying something new this time, and I’m glad I did. ENJOY!
Each part is 4 minutes long. There are 2 exercises in each part. You will alternate between the two during each Part. During the 4 minutes you will be doing intervals of 20sec work/10sec rest – you’ll do the exercises 4x thru.
Rest for 1 minute between Parts.
I use an interval timer app on my iPhone called, Seconds. It has a Tabata timer and is very simple to use.
