I love making food fun for Olivia when I can. She’s not the most open minded eater, so it’s a great way to introduce her to new foods. At the very least, I’ll get a smile out of her before she tells me it’s gross and throws it on the floor.
I do manage to sneak veggies into her meals now and then. For example, when I make her a salmon burger I’ll, blend up some veggies and mix them in with the ketchup. It always makes feel so sneaky and clever. Muhahahah!
Please share some of your fun food ideas! I could use them!
Now for the POPCORN… Have you ever made popcorn from scratch? If not you should really give it a try. It’s really easy to do, it’s not filled with out-of-this-world ingredients, and it tastes so much better!
- Popping Corn
- Coconut Oil
- Whatever toppings you want: butter, salt, pepper, nutritional yeast, parmesan..etc etc
Directions: Pour a THIN layer of coconut oil on the bottom of a pot. Using high heat, add 3 kernels to the pot. After one pops, add a layer of kernels to the bottom of the pot. Shake the pot occasionally. Remove from heat once the popcorn is popped. Enjoy!
